I arrived in Rio De Jeniero to be greeted my old couchsurfing friend Henrique (pronounced En-HIKI).I immediately knew I wasn’t in Kansas anymore when he pulls a bottle of Cachaca (Brazillian liqour) out of his backpack and tells me to drink right there in the airport! I look over at the security guard who just pretends not to see and with a big pull off of the bottle my Carnival begins.
